Passionnée d’activité physique, Stefanie a débuté comme entraineuse personnelle certifié chez Énergie Cardio en 2008 et elle entraîna ensuite plusieurs équipes sportives de volleyball et de basketball pendant 3 ans. L’activité physique est déjà, à ce moment-là, une véritable passion pour Stefanie. Ensuite, elle se perfectionne en suivant une formation Crossfit Level 1 ainsi que plusieurs séminaires d’haltérophilie et de gymnastique donnés par des entraîneurs de niveau olympique. Ainsi, elle put combiner sécurité et intensité tout en restant dans la zone d’entrainement pour femme!

Une question de motivation et de volonté!

Toujours plus passionnée, elle décide de poursuivre des études universitaires à l’UQAM en Intervention en activité physique et à la santé. Elle y découvre une facilité à animer des groupes et à motiver les gens qui désirent s’entraîner! Selon elle, « les gens ont besoin de nouvelles motivations pour bouger et s’entrainer » « Les entrainements pour femme disponible sur le marché n’ont pas évolué avec l’évolution de la femme elle-même, la femme branchée qui aime les défis et surtout qui aime se dépasser. Il y avait assurément un besoin nouveau dans le monde du fitness chez la femme » et Stefanie accumule alors de nombreux résultats avec plusieurs de ses clientes !

Et puis MissFit Montréal!

Le 3 mars 2010, sur la base d’un tout nouveau concept, Stefanie fonde les bootcamps extérieurs MissFit. Le principe est simple : un entraînement intense pour femme différent chaque jour, encadré et en plein air. Étant très active sur les réseaux sociaux, Stefanie propage l’image du MissFit, qui se veut d’être une image de la femme à la fois forte et séduisante. En décembre 2011, Stefanie se perfectionne en suivant une formation Crossfit Level 1 ainsi que plusieurs séminaires d’haltérophilie et de gymnastique donnés par des entraineurs de niveau olympique. Ainsi, elle put combiner sécurité et intensité tout en restant dans la zone d’entrainement pour femme!

Puis, en janvier 2012, elle rencontre une opportunité qu’elle ne pouvait refuser. Elle trouve un local parfait pour fonder le premier centre Missfit. Le concept est vite adopté par plusieurs femmes désirant pousser leur entrainement.

Le concept prend forme, on y retrouve des séances courtes et intenses de 45 minutes données à chaque heure du jour de 7 h à 21 h et encadrer par un entraineur motivateur. L’entrainement est axé sur le positif et sur le plaisir de l’entrainement, le dépassement de soi et l’apprentissage de mouvement fonctionnel (montée de corde, pull up, marcher sur les mains, haltérophilie). Le Missfit, c’est plus qu’un centre d’entrainement, c’est une communauté et un mode de vie, ce qui comble de nombreuses jeunes femmes actives. MissFit c’est l’entraînement parfait pour trouver votre dose de “girl power”, vous motiver, et pour donner votre maximum! Cette nouvelle formule apporte tous les avantages d’un entraînement privé, mais à petits prix !
